CURVY OOTD: COLORBLOCKING WITH ANIMAL PRINT

Hi Lovlies,

Today's outfit shows how to mix a bold print such as animal print with a bright color without looking overdone nor ridiculous.

The key is to mute down the bold pattern by taming it with a solid color.  The blouse is silk animal print which gives off a lustrious sheen. I actually went with a linen blazer because it is summer and that fabric will allow my skin to breathe and keep me cooler.

My accessories (necklace and belt) mimick the red color of the blazer.  Little subltle hints of color is usually ALL you need to make an outfit stand out and less ordinary.  I finish with some faux suede stone colored wedges detailed with gold studs.  The beige/borwns of the stone color and yellow of the gold studs mimicks the colors from the blouse-again turning the outfit into one cohesive look with similar tones.
