Roar

Hi Lovelies,

Today's outfit solidifies two things for me:
  • Cheetah and Leopard print are interchangeable
  • I must invest in a good iron o_0

Curvy in the City

Its been a while since my last post.  Life took over and left me no time to blog but I'm back now. With that being sad, it hasn't been all work and no play.  I managed to fit some fun in.  Below is recap of the last few weeks in my life.

I went to see A Streetcar named Desire on Broadway.   I really enjoyed it and it didn't hurt that Blair Underwood removed his shirt several times ;)  I wore a MadMen inspired outfit complete with houndstooth and blazer.

I also spent the weekend in the mountains with the boyfriend and several of his friends.  We rented out a whole inn which gave us access to all the amenities-jacuzzi, chef kitchen, etc.  I had a great time which could have been better if it wasn't for a migraine that lasted few days.

Full Bar for the 13 of us

That's all for now.  Happy Sunday Loves!

Weekend Recap: Crew Love & Club Wear

Hi Lovelies,

I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I attended one of my closest friends' graduation/new job party at a club in the Village. It was filled with bottles upon bottles of champagne, Alize, Ciroc and Grey Goose (the club standard in my opinion) and Hookah.  I dont know about you guys, but when I get ready to go to any event where I know my picture will be taken, I ALWAYS take pictures of myself at home to see exactly how I'd look.  You may look one way at home and completely different on camera so to be camera-ready (sort to speak), I have this ritual.

As you see, I was trying on different outfits to see exactly the look I was going for.  I knew I wanted to wear something short but couldn't decide between the leather shorts (Urban Outfitters) and the neon yellow mini (H&M).  I decided on the bustier and leather shorts. To downplay the sex appeal, I opted for my red linen blazer (lightweight for the weather and red for a dash of color amongst the black on black).

Below are some "decent" pictures from that night.

I LOOK HELLA CRAZY IN THIS PIC LMAO!!

Ended the weekend with some family time-

Do you guys take pictures of yourself before you go out?

The Highs and Lows

Hi Lovelies,

Today's outfit incorporates two current trends-polko dots and the high low skirt.  If you follow my channel on YouTube, you may recognize the skirt in my end of Spring/Summer Clothing haul.  This outfit, in my opinion is a bit blahh.  I say this only because I didn't incorporate any bright colors or hues.  I love color and I regret not adding a colored shoe or blouse but instead opting to stick to the color palate found in the skirt-black and tan.  Needless to say, I think the look is cute but there's definitely room for improvement.  You be the judge...

I appreciate everyone who comments and views my blog.  You guys are awesome!
