ROMWE REVIEW & GIVEAWAY DETAILS

Labor Day is approaching which means Fall is not far behind.  I'm NOT READY!
I am still getting my Fall pieces together to add onto my wardrobe and this site, ROMWE, is where it's at.  They are so on-trend that it seems as if they add trendy pieces before it even BECOMES a trend.  Their street style approach to fashion GIVES ME LIFE and then some! 

Below are three pieces I picked from their site. 

Galaxy Leggings

Styling:  Presently, I'd wear them with a sheer top or chambray shirt but for the Fall, I would simply opt for a long sleeve top or knit sweater along w/ ankle boots or sneaker wedges.

Chiffon Thigh Slit Skirt

Styling:  Presently, I'd wear it with bare legs but for the Fall, I will add opaque black tights to the skirt.  For a sexier look, I have the idea to wear garter style stockings with it.

Sequin Blouse (see-thru)

Styling:  As seen above, I simply added a vest to it to conceal for a work appropriate look.  In the Fall, it can be layered with a blazer or pull-over sweater easily.

Studs and Flowers

One of the best shopping tips I can give to you lovelies out there is to pick pieces that can transition from day time to night time and Fall through summer. That way, you save money and also have the ability to reinvent your outfits.  In this post, that transitional piece is this heavy floral pattern a-line skirt I purchased from H&M this past Spring.  It's stretchy enough so that if I gain or lose a few inches, it would still work for me.

Truth be told, this whole outfit was styled around these edgy yet girly pumps.  The colors in the shoe surfaces in the skirt and brought to life with my tank and blazer.

Mint

I have been loving sheer/ see-thru clothing since the Spring. When I first saw these mint colored palazzo pleated pants at Zara, I knew they had to go home with me.  It may be a little risque on some particularly on a curvy body.  However, due to the attached stretchy shorts, it brings a more modest appeal to it.

Bringing San to the Beach

You do not need to leave the US in search of an island getaway. The US house many island destinations from Florida, Washington State, Rhode Island to South Carolina and others.  You will be shock to see the vast resemblances between our domestic shoreline and that of a Caribbean island. 

Ok, back to the regularly scheduled programming, the outfit.  I tend to be very easy breezy when I'm on vacation, I don't pack many heels or elaborate pieces.  My goal is relaxation and rocking a pair of 4" heels does not have a place in that...at least for now.  Hilton Head Island, in South Carolina was so relaxing perfect for my nonchalant laid back manner.  I wore nothing but flowy light weight pieces and maxi dresses.  The one I sport here is chevron (zig zag) colorful and bright pattern which may or may not cause a visual seizure.

Southern Hopping- My Vacay in Savannah & Carolinas

I'm Backk!! I had a great vacation visiting Savannah for few days then becoming a beach bum at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina for a week. Savannah truly holds a warm place in my heart-not only is this city historic with beautiful landmarks and breathtaking river views, but the people are so down to earth and warm.  I dined at Paula Dean's Lady & Sons restaurant, Huey's on the riverfront and another establishment I cant remember the name too.  To my delight, I discovered there was a Wet Willies there and of course purchased a drink.  My daughter felt like the children in Willy WOnka soon as she stepped into one of the two candy making establishments on the river.  We left there with bags of Salt Water Taffy, Pralines, and a myraid of chocolate goodies.  Yummers!

OOTD-Make a form fitting Maxi Dress Work Appropriate (Request)

I'm currently on vacation, but my readers are still on my mind. I recently uploaded an outfit of the day video to YouTube as a request from one of my subscribers.  She asked for tips on how to turn a maxi dress from work appropriate to night.   Aside from throwing a blazer on top of it, which I did here, I suggested layering it with a semi-sheer loose fitting top.  That way, she's covered up yet the material is light enough to allow air circulation during these hot summer months.  If you're busty, you have no control over your cleavage so to camouflage that area, opt for a pattern fabric oppose to a solid color.

DENIM AND PLEATS

The weather went from sizzling hot to humid and dreary.  I was late getting to an appointment so I literally just threw this ensemble together. I started with going casual with the denim shirt but decided against leggings or pants due to the humidity and opted for my short pleated dainty pink skirt.  Threw on some red lips and my vintage shades and walked out the door.  Because I had planned on hitting the pavement hard, I sported my comfty leather bright orange flats.
